Advertising (Google AdSense)

When ads are served, this site uses Google AdSense. Google and third-party vendors may use cookies and other identifiers to collect, share and use information such as your IP address, browser information and visits to this and other websites for advertising, personalization and measurement. Selected photos and pattern contents are not sent as advertising data by Amizu.

You can manage personalized Google ads in My Ad Center and restrict cookies in your browser settings.

1. Our approach

Amizu respects your privacy and handles information as needed to provide and improve the Service. This policy explains what information is handled, why, and the controls available to you.

2. Photos, images and charts

Selected photos and images are loaded and converted, and charts edited, in the browser on your device. Selected images and generated chart content are not sent to the Service's servers or Google Analytics.

Original images and file names are not included in custom analytics events. You do not need an account, name or email address to select an image.

3. Browser storage (localStorage)

To let you resume work, your latest chart, generation settings, progress pin, storage identifier and update time are saved in your browser's localStorage. Original images, generated alternatives and undo history are not saved. The saved identifier is not sent to analytics.

Saved data can only be restored on the same device, browser and site. It does not sync across devices, browsers or domains. Storage limits, browser settings or private browsing may prevent saving or restoring data.

Delete saved data using Delete saved chart in the editor's Settings, or your browser's clear site data feature. Data is retained until deleted, replaced or cleared by the browser. It is not stored on the Service's servers.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand usage and improve the Service. Cookies and similar technologies collect and process visited pages, visit times, referrers, device and browser information, and usage data. Connection information such as IP addresses is also transmitted when connecting to Google.

We send custom events for editor visits and clicks on Generate chart. These events do not include photos, file names, chart content, names or email addresses. We do not set a login User-ID.

See the following resources for Google's data practices. Google Analytics retention follows Google's specifications and the operator's property settings.

5. Opting out of analytics and cookies

On supported browsers, Google's opt-out add-on can disable the use of data by Google Analytics. See Google's instructions for compatibility and setup.

You can delete or restrict cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies alone does not stop future analytics. Clearing site data may also delete charts and pins saved in your browser.

6. Connection information

The Service is hosted on Vercel. The hosting provider may process connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and access times for page delivery, security and troubleshooting. Keeping selected images off servers does not mean that no connection information is transmitted when visiting the site.

We update this page and its revision date when features or data practices change. If advertising or donation options are added, we will explain the external services and related data practices and take any legally required steps.
